This new two storey cottage opened December, 2010.  It's designed to appeal to families as it has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom is en-suite and on the ground floor whilst the double and triple bedrooms are on the first floor. The large kitchen/diner with its table to seat up to 10 is on the ground floor with access to the garden. The sitting room is on the first floor with a balcony with views across Cheshire to the Pennines in the East and the Shropshire hills to the South.

The cottage sleeps up to 7 people and has under floor heating throughout.

The Carter's Lodge is an annexe onto this cottage which can sleep 2 people and therefore can be used for extra people visiting the Drovers Barn or large group bookings.  There is no adjoining door between these 2 cottages.
